Travel to Bulgaria by Bus
Another convenient way to travel to Bulgaria is by bus.
Buses to and from the capital city of Sofia will travel outside of Bulgaria to all the major cities in Europe.
Bulgarian Travel Bus companies are the cheapest, but it’s difficult to obtain a ticket when traveling to Bulgaria. Therefore, it’s easiest to obtain a Euroline ticket. Don’t be alarmed if there’s a “border fee” charged to each traveler at the border of Bulgaria.
Also note that most buses pass through Serbia, so you might need a transit visa beforehand.
