Entry and Customs in Bulgaria
You must have a valid passport or transit visa to enter Bulgaria.
You can get a transit visa from the embassies and consulates of the Republic of Bulgaria when abroad.
Bulgaria has a visa-free regime with many countries, or if you’re with a tourist organization to Bulgaria you won’t need a visa.
No entry visas to Bulgaria are required for EU and EFTA members.
If you’re a CIS visitor to Bulgaria, you will not need a visa for a stay that is less than one month, as long as you have a valid passport.
You may be required to pay 40 USD for each day of your stay in Bulgaria without a visa.
